Project Handoff & Notice

This page explains how completed work is handed off, what clients are responsible for after launch, and how Sky Grid Development may reference completed projects.

This notice is written in plain language for clarity and should not be treated as legal advice. Clients should have a qualified legal, tax, compliance, or industry professional review anything that affects their business obligations.

Project Handoff

After a project is completed and approved, Sky Grid Development may provide relevant files, access notes, deployment details, documentation, or guidance needed to use the delivered website, application, or system. The exact handoff items depend on the project scope and the platforms involved.

Client Responsibility After Completion

Once a project is handed off, the client is responsible for operating their business, reviewing their website content, maintaining accurate policies, keeping accounts secure, managing third-party services, and making sure their business practices meet any legal, tax, accessibility, privacy, licensing, or industry requirements that apply to them.

No Professional Legal, Tax, or Compliance Advice

Sky Grid Development builds and supports digital tools. Unless specifically agreed in writing, services do not include legal advice, tax advice, regulated compliance review, insurance guidance, accounting guidance, or industry certification. Clients should cross their T's and dot their I's with the right professionals for their business.

Third-Party Services

Many projects use third-party services such as hosting providers, payment processors, form tools, calendars, analytics, maps, email tools, plugins, or APIs. Sky Grid Development is not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, data practices, or failures caused by those third-party services.

Content, Accuracy, and Approvals

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving content, pricing, claims, images, contact information, service descriptions, legal statements, and other business information before and after launch. If a client provides content or approves content, Sky Grid Development relies on that approval as confirmation that the content is accurate and authorized for use.

Ongoing Maintenance

Websites and applications may need updates over time. Unless an active maintenance or support agreement is in place, ongoing monitoring, backups, updates, fixes, security reviews, content edits, and third-party account management are the client's responsibility after handoff.

Portfolio and Promotional Use

Sky Grid Development may display completed work, screenshots, project descriptions, client business names, or demo versions in a portfolio, gallery, social media post, proposal, or promotional example. This can help promote both Sky Grid Development and the client's business. If a project contains sensitive or private material, the client should request limits in writing.

Limitation of Responsibility

Sky Grid Development aims to deliver careful, practical work, but is not responsible for business losses, missed revenue, legal claims, compliance issues, third-party failures, client account issues, content supplied by the client, or changes made after handoff unless responsibility is clearly agreed in writing.

Questions or Special Terms

Every project can be different. If a client needs a private launch, special handoff terms, a non-display agreement, ongoing support, or a specific compliance workflow, those expectations should be discussed and agreed in writing before or during the project.
